# Realised I need a Power supply dedicated for this.  The possibilty of all 3 radios transmitting at the same time could happen.  A 20 Amp power supply should be suffiecent for this.
 
* BE aware that if you have multiple radios operating under one power supply like I do, when adding a second link the possiblity of 2 radios transmitting will exist !    So be aware of our AMP draw for the 2 radios !

TYPICAL KDEG (Kentuckiana Digital Experimenter's Group) RADIO STATION

1) VHF/UHF Radio - the club has some radio's to offer up for use. These are commercial radios being modded to work on our freqs.

2) Nino TNC - USB 5v power to TNC -USB TYPE-B on the Board, this is Fed from RasPi

  • Unit has DB9 Female connection on the board that goes to Radio

3) Raspberry Pi - depending on the version of Pi you have, you will need a 2.5A to 3.5A power supply for it.

  • This unit can run multiple packet stations by adding on a powered USB hub for connections to multiple TNC and radios.
